To our lovely Auntie,Great Auntie & Great Great Auntie Dulcie. You was such a lovely person. Always there to help and guide us. Although you was in pain a lot you was always happy to see us. You always had biscuits and sweets in the cupboard for the boys. We all missed you so much when you moved away but we still had a chat on the phone regularly. Warmly thought of as our 2nd Mum and Special Aunty to our daughter Jo and Granddaughter Aimee. Dulcie was a very special lady; always thinking of others over her own health and wellbeing. Such a strong and independent woman, nothing was too much trouble for her but she always hated asking for help. A simple task of replacing a battery for her or buying a newspaper if she couldn’t get to the shop left her feeling she owed us! Referring to herself as our ‘Nosy neighbour’, she was our personal security guard, watching over our property from her lounge window when we weren’t there. Dulcie, we miss you, we love you, we will remember you always. Brian, Di, Jo and Aimee. xx

So many fond memories of our times together; swimming, meals out, chatting in her garden. Our main abiding memory is her inspiration, always determined. Her strength of spirit always shone through and she was such a kind, generous soul; we always came away from her home with a gift, no matter how small. {Dulcie would never accept a "No").
